Being a developing country in Southeast Asia, Vietnam is facing many problems in which education is one of the most pressing issue. Vietnamese youth realize that education is the fastest way to develop and modernize society. Especially, Vietnam is gradually ready for international integration which English becomes more essential than ever before. By equipping English skills for Vietnamese young generation, you are able to contribute to create better impact on the society.

National Project: Global Passportpage_1

Global Passport is the current national project of AIESEC in Vietnam. We aim to provide high school and universities student with English courses in a multicultural environment to gain more social and communication skills as well as self-confidence.

Project Timeline:

  • Duration: 6 weeks/Each phase
    • Phase 1: 12th September – 23rd October 2016
    • Phase 2: 24th October – 4th December 2016
    • Phase 3: 5th December  2016 – 15th January 2017
  • Activities:
    • Week 1: Orientation from project team and customer service team
    • Week 2: LEAD event, training and preparation for the projects
    • Week 3,4,5,6: Run the project.
    • Weekends: Hang out, weekend events, Culture Day

Project in Ho Chi Minh City: Viet-Learning

Viet-learning is a project AIESEC HCMC cooperating with NPO – Vietlearning aiming to raise awareness of animal protection and empower Vietnamese young underprivileged children learn English.
By the mission, we support for shelters in Nha Trang city by helping abandoned animal, raising awareness for local people about animal protection and teaching English for underprivileged children.

Project Timeline:

  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • Get matched: Any time of the year
  • Activities:
    • Week 1: Orientation from NPO and customer service team
    • Week 2: LEAD event, training and preparation for the projects
    • Week 1,2,3,4,5,6: Run the project
    • Weekends: Hang out, weekend events, Culture Day

Project in Ho Chi Minh City: Tea Talks

This project takes place in Sozo Centre, a cafe established to enable people to be improved and contribute to the society, especially the young ones document collaboration tools. Beyond serving drink and food, they offer a space for those who would love to improve themselves and learn to serve others by working, learning and serving.
Sozo and Child / Young Person Protection:
All children and young people, without exception, have the right to feel and be safe at all times. With the help of C.A.C.E.T Global (Child Abuse, Consultancy, Education, and Training) Sozo has a comprehensive Child and Young Person Protection Policy.

Project Timeline:

  • Duration: 6-8 weeks
  • Start between: 1st October 2016 and 31st January 2017
  • Activities:
    • Help with English: Facilitate and support those who come to Sozo about English pronunciation and communication skills
    • Workshop, talkshare: Support, prepare, and organize to set plan, content, decoration and execute for these talk shares workshop
    • Volunteer activities: Support, prepare, organize and take part in the activities
    • Group, outdoor activities: Support, prepare, organize and take part in the activities to spend time and get to know people.
    • Admin work: Make flyers, activities schedule, print, copy, go to buy supply with local volunteers
